CLAAS Harvest Centre launched at Memari, West Bengal

In a proud development, CLAAS in India recently inaugurated the one of its kind CLAAS Harvest Centre at Memari, a town right in the heart of Rice bowl of West Bengal - Bardhaman.


Inaugurated by Dr. Jens Oeding, President Region Asia, CLAAS KGaA and Mr. Jay Singh, Managing Director, CLAAS Agri-machinery Pvt Ltd, the new facility, the first one in Eastern India, is aimed at not only providing a glimpse of the latest CLAAS agricultural machinery, but also making available knowledge about best agricultural practices for the farming community. It will also host several farmer centric programs including machine owner & operator training, knowledge sharing sessions with government agriculture department as well as information on farm inputs from private industry associates.

This facility has been established at M/s Bengal Motors, a progressive CLAAS dealership in Memari. During the event, a press conference and customer get-together was also organised where a few customers got the delivery of keys for their new CLAAS CROP TIGER combine harvester. We thank Mr. Asim Mondal, dealer partner, Mr. Prem Kumar, National Sales Head and the regional business team for their outstanding contribution in making the occasion successful.
